Budapest, a vibrant world city, has emerged in recent years as a gourmet travel destination. This cooking course introduces participants to the subtle and refined tricks of Hungarian cuisine, revealing how to create culinary highlights from seemingly simple local specialties. Additionally, we present the famous Hungarian wines and sparkling wines.

Day 2
City Tour & Gourmet Dinner
Discover Budapest’s iconic landmarks on a city tour: Parliament, Heroes’ Square, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Castle District with Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, the vibrant city center, and panoramic views from Gellért Hill over the Danube and elegant bridges.
Enjoy a gourmet dinner at a local restaurant, accompanied by the chef’s commentary featuring top-quality Hungarian specialties.
Day 3
Cooking Class & Törley Sparkling Wine Cellar
After breakfast, join a hands-on cooking class led by professional chefs to prepare a 3-course menu using local spices and secret techniques. Enjoy your meal paired with matching wines.
In the afternoon, visit the Törley Sparkling Wine Cellar, founded in 1882 and once the market leader in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Tour the museum and production halls showcasing sparkling wine history, concluding with a tasting of three Törley wines. Return to the hotel for a relaxed evening.
Day 4
Wine Cellar Visit & Tasting
Spend the morning exploring the Old Town, the colorful Great Market Hall, and cozy cafés.
In the afternoon, visit the Royal Wine House and Wine Museum beneath the Castle Hill. Experience medieval wine cellars dating back to King Matthias’s era, now elegant wine temples representing all 22 Hungarian wine regions. Enjoy a tasting of four wines, including the world-famous Tokaji, paired with delicious bites. Return to the hotel for a leisurely evening.

Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Danube metropolis.
