Explore the charming town of Sopron on a leisurely walking tour, visiting highlights such as the Fire Tower with panoramic views, the Town Hall, Storno House Museum, medieval houses, and the Gothic Goat Church.
In the afternoon, enjoy a 60-minute boat cruise on Lake Neusiedl, followed by a tasting of local red wines.
Dinner with live Gypsy music at the Erhardt Restaurant.
Day 3
Szombathely City Tour, Gulyás Lunch & Kőszeg Wine Tasting
Full-day excursion to Szombathely, founded by the Romans and birthplace of Saint Martin. Tour the Roman ruins, remnants of the Amber Road, and the magnificent cathedral.
Lunch at Gulyás Csarda featuring traditional 4-course Hungarian dishes including creamy bean soup, smoked pork knuckle, goose leg, and homemade strudel.
Continue to Kőszeg for a stroll through the medieval town center and wine tasting at a local vineyard. Return to Sopron for an evening at leisure.
Day 4
Esterházy Palace & Harrer Chocolate World
Morning visit to Esterházy Palace in Fertőd, known as the “Hungarian Versailles.” Discover the elegant 18th-century palace, gardens, and pavilions built by Prince Nikolaus Esterházy, who maintained one of Europe’s most splendid courts with Joseph Haydn as his Kapellmeister.
In the afternoon, visit Harrer Chocolate World in Sopron. Experience the world of fine chocolate with a guided tasting including champagne with truffles, raw and dark chocolates, a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit, and chocolate beverages.
